Steampunk journal workshop to be held at Swansea library
On Thursday, Aug. 23, Kaija Gallucci of Kaija’s Curiosities will present a Steampunk journal workshop at the Swansea Public Library at 1 p.m.
Participants will create their own Steampunk journal using an assortment of objects. Steampunk is a literary genre that incorporates elements of the Victorian era, science fiction, fantasy, alternative history, horror and speculative fiction. It usually takes place in a steam-powered world and features technology combined with Victorian history or the Wild West era.
This workshop is free and open to the public, ages 10 and older. Blank journals will be supplied. Seating is limited.
