She searches for door knobs, eyeglasses, keys, clock pieces and scrap metal, and when she walks out the door somebody almost always asks “what will you do with that bag of junk?” “Well my mind is already there,” Kettell said. Kettell, who co-owns Piddlestixs in Lafayette Mill Antiques Center, searches for those pieces so she can mold them together to make steampunk jewelry.
